I’ve always been into fitness even from a young age. I was in most of the school sports teams and played hockey and netball for teams outside of school. I looked to join the RAF as PTI at the age of 17 but soon realised that life in the military was not what I wanted. I did work experience with Dorset Police PT and had a love for training and teaching and putting people through their paces. I carried on with my own training and helping friends train for races and have always loved helping people achieve their fitness dreams.

Before life as a personal trainer I worked in various roles from travelling the world working in hospitality on cruise ships to a central London office job at Time Out magazine so I understand the stress and pressures of office life. It was from Time Out that I was made redundant and used this as the opportunity to retrain and focus on what I was really passionate about. I soon realised that I didn’t want to work indoors in a gym and I wanted to be mobile and be outside in the parks and enjoying East London. I spent many years cycling around East London on my bike to clients either in their homes or in one of the lovely parks.

I have experience of working with clients of all levels and ability from working with women during and after their pregnancies to helping clients train for their first half marathon or working with physiotherapist and osteotherapists to help clients with rehabilitation after an injury or surgery.

Over the last couple of years i've built a wonderful team of fellow personal trainers who all share my ethos and approach and enable me to help more of you get moving and stay strong and active. Meet the team here.

Having to navigate through the craziness 2020 bought and adapting the business so I could continue to offer a great service to all my clients, I took some time to reflect and reevaluate what I want out of life and how I want to spend my time. With taking my business online and my amazing team expanding and having clients in various locations across the country, it made me realise that we don’t need to be in London full time. My dream has always been to live back in Swanage, Dorset and be able to run on the coast path and swim in the sea and at the start of 2021 I made that dream a reality.

NickiB Fitness will continue to run personal training services in London. My team are looking after their existing clients and ready to take on any new enquires. I am available for online clients with the plan to build up a client base in Swanage, Dorset. I will be in London once a month for massage appointments at Fix  and to see my team and my clients.
