Woodland Retreat
Friday 24th to Monday 27th September 2027
Campwell Wood(near Bath)
A weekend of breathwork, movement and gentle rest.
Switch off in the forest. Unwind, and reconnect with yourself.
Join us for a restorative weekend away from the noise of everyday life.
Through breathwork, mindful movement and deep rest, you'll learn simple, practical techniques to calm and regulate your nervous system — tools you can carry with you long after the weekend ends.
A Weekend Retreat in Functional Breathwork:
You breathe around 20,000 times a day — yet most of us have never been taught how to do it well. This weekend is about relearning the most fundamental skill you have, from the ground up.
Over the weekend, we'll work through the mechanics, the habits, and the daily practices that shape how you breathe — and how that ripples out into your energy, focus, sleep, and strength.
What We'll Cover:
Functional Breathwork The foundations — how to breathe efficiently, not just deeply. We'll break down the mechanics of a functional breath and build practices you can take home and use every day.
The Power of Nasal Breathing
Why your nose is built for breathing (and your mouth isn't). We'll explore the research and the practice behind nasal breathing, and how switching it on changes everything from oxygen delivery to nervous system regulation.
Rib Mobility
Your ribcage needs to move for your lungs to work properly. Through targeted mobility exercises, we'll free up restriction through the ribs and thoracic spine so your breath has room to expand.
Fascial Release with Coregeous
Balls Using Coregeous balls, we'll release fascial tension through the diaphragm, chest, and core — unwinding the tightness that quietly restricts your breathing mechanics without you ever noticing.
Footwork
Breath and balance start further away than you'd think. Our foot-focused sessions rebuild strength and function from the ground up, improving stability, alignment, and the connection between your feet and your breath.
Evening Wind-Down Breathwork Each evening closes with a slower, guided breathwork practice designed to calm the nervous system and set you up for deep, restful sleep.
